Well, actually we plan to publish financial report per month. But it is not as easy as we thought, since we quite busy with our daily work (hmm, actually it can’t be an excuse). Thus, we try to publish the financial report on quaterly.

actually from last Christmas production, CPM is not working effectively since there is no big order. Most of sales come from outstanding production on Christmas. Please pray for us that we go into mass production once more and if your church need a souvenir for Easter, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

And here is the Financial Report Jan - Mar 2009 and the news of our activity in this 3 months :

Notes :

1. We have distributed almost 570 boxes of milk to housewives member of CPM in Cikarang, Depok and Sungai Tiram (Sunter). Most of fund available come from profit on last Christmas.
2. We also deliver 300 Cross key chains for Easter in GPIA, there also some individual sales
3. We also acknowledge donations to CPM as other income. fyi, there is some donations goes directly to help Angel thus that is not recorded in CPM Financial Report
4. CPM also donate Rp. 1.150.000,-, in between to help Angel. Some of the donations come from others, and CPM donate Rp. 400.000 from its profit to help Angel.
5. In the period Jan-Mar 2009, CPM Book loss around Rp 832.966. It happens because CPM have to pay its obligation to housewives and distribute milk.
6. We also buy additional 200 boxes milk to be distribute on April 2009.
7. CPM also open new bank account which is dedicated for CPM. The new account is BCA 4281517770 an. Soegianto. And on April, We will create new account cash in bank.
8. CPM also acknowledge Bank Admin Rp.10.000,- each months

Rakai, Uganda, August 1998

His name was Richard, the same as mine. I sat inside his meager thatch hut, listening to his story, told through the tears of an orphan whose parents had died of AIDS. At thirteen, Richard was trying to raise his two younger brothers by himself in this small shack with no running water, electricity, or even beds to sleep in. There were no adults in their lives—no one to care for them, feed them, love them, or teach them how to become men. There was no one to hug them either, or to tuck them in at night. Other than his siblings, Richard was alone, as no child should be. I try to picture my own children abandoned in this kind of deprivation, fending for themselves without parents to protect them, and I cannot.

I didn’t want to be there. I wasn’t supposed to be there, so far out of my comfort zone—not in that place where orphaned children live by themselves in their agony. There, poverty, disease, and squalor had eyes and faces that stared back, and I had to see and smell and touch the pain of the poor. That particular district, Rakai, is believed to be ground zero for the Ugandan AIDS pandemic.

Hi teman-teman CPM’ers,

Thanks selama ini sudah mendukung Cross Project Ministry… Terutama sekali ketika teman-teman telah secara tidak langsung terlibat dalam membantu salah satu peserta dari Cross Project Ministry. Ibu Nini dan Angel… Kami sungguh merasakan besarnya dukungan teman-teman CPM’ers meskipun diantara kita tidak mengenal siapa itu Ibu Nini dan siapa itu Angel.

Rekan kami di Cikarang, Ester, telah menuliskan kisahnya selama pelayanan ini dengan Angel… untuk itu, kami ingin sekali berbagi kisah tersebut dengan teman-teman, yang menjadi latar belakang kami untuk membantu keluarga ini.

Selama beberapa postingan ke depan kami akan mem-posting tulisan Ester tentang Ibu Nini dan Angel.  dengan judul. Tentang Malaikat yang diambil dari nama Angel sendiri yang berarti malaikat… Selamat membaca!

Angel and her mother is a participant of CPM in Cikarang-Bekasi. Recently, her mother and Angel were diagnosed having a Bronchitis. Her mother also got a problem with her thyroid (gondongan) and were recommended by doctor to be operated. Her father is still jobless and in the way to return to his homeland in Ambon to start a new life there. We believe that Angel (who is still 8 years old) and her mother need help from us. Right now, with help from Ester Situmorang, they will take medicine in OBI (Obor Berkat Indonesia). About her mother thyroid problem, we hope that we could help in prayer and financial to operate her (if needed). Please contact me if you simply want to help them. If you live in Bekasi-Cikarang and want to help them please contact us (since actually Ester still in recovery condition after sinus operation).

Updated:

1. Ester plan to check Ibu Nini (Angel’s mother) to RSCM, to check about her Thyroid whether it’s dangerous or not. Please bring in prayer.
2. Information from one of our friends, approximately Ibu Nini (Angel’s mom) need more than Rp.500,000.- for checking her Thyroid. Thanks for the information. Please help us if you know exact information about testing for Thyroid. please leave message
